I recently rejoined Grand Circle as the Senior Vice President of Group Sales after a short retirement, assisting in expanding the sales and marketing of our group trips to affinity organizations. Having been in the business for over 35 years, it was difficult for me to stay away! I’ve traveled extensively throughout Europe, cruised from Amsterdam to the Black Sea, and vacationed in Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific. In my spare time, I enjoy a spirited game of tennis and spending time with my teenage daughter.
I joined Grand Circle & O.A.T. in 2012 and have been working with the Groups Department for almost a year. In all fairness, I had very little travel experience prior to joining the business. I grew up in a small city a few miles north of Boston and attended college at the University of Maine. With two full-time working parents, two siblings, and year-round extracurricular activities, international travel opportunities never presented themselves. That being said, since joining Grand Circle, I have had the opportunity of traveling to Ecuador, the Galápagos Islands, and Italy! These experiences have undoubtedly changed my life and I look forward to having the opportunity to help change the lives of you and your group members through travel.

I first moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2005 and I first started working at Grand Circle in 2011. Besides my years working for Grand Circle and working in the travel industry in San Francisco before that, I am an avid traveler myself and am striving to keep the number of countries visited higher than my age. In addition to extensive touring in Europe for work, I lived in Italy twice as a student and I have also resided and volunteered in rural communities in South America, India, Southeast Asia, and Northern Africa. I've been fortunate enough to have had plenty of personal experiences realizing the joy of being not just a tourist, but actively traveling in an engaged and meaningful way. For example, I've taught English to orphans and monks in Cambodia, learned how to plant rice and how to cook snake in Thailand, discussed (in Italian) the American death penalty in a full auditorium in Italy, attended several weddings in India, and helped build a log cabin in Patagonia, Argentina, (just to name a few of my many adventures), usually while also honing my language skills. I speak Italian and Spanish and have studied Japanese and Hindi. One of my most arduous feats was hiking from Canada to Mexico on the Pacific Crest Trail amidst the tallest mountains of the Cascade and Sierra mountain ranges. These days, I try to balance my office work with healthy doses of surfing, hiking, yoga, gardening, and taking photos.
I have been with Grand Circle since 2010, and joined the Groups Department in January 2018. I have worn many hats in my Grand Circle career, including Traveler Support associate, Sales associate, Call Quality monitor, Call Center Trainer, and Air associate. I have been on 10 trips with the company and to 15 different countries. My top 3 destinations so far have been Turkey, Croatia, and Machu Picchu. My dream is to head down to Cape Town and cage dive with some Great White Sharks! I enjoy many activities and hobbies, but I am most passionate about 2 things: volunteering & baseball. I was the 2016 recipient of the Lewis Family Foundation Excellence in Community service award winner of which I am very proud, a diehard Boston Red Sox fan, and I am getting ready to enter my 19th season as a Little League Baseball coach.
I started with Grand Circle at the end of 2017. I always had a love for travel as a child. I had a French exchange student come and stay with me while I was in high school. We became very close and I travel every few years to France to stay with her and her family. I hope to spend more time traveling to countries I have never been to. I have recently relocated to Florida and I am so excited to continue new journey with Grand Circle.
I have been with Grand Circle since 2005. I joined the Group Sales Department in 2009, after four years as a Traveler Support Representative. I enjoy working with our Group Leaders because it gives me the opportunity to build relationships with them. I was born in Brockton, Massachusetts: “The City of Champions.” I've traveled extensively throughout Europe, including Britain, France, Italy, and various Eastern European nations. One of my favorite trips was to Tipperary, Ireland, where my family and I rented a house in the town where my grandparents were born and raised. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, attending concerts, playing volleyball, and spending time with my 13-year-old son. The next destination on my “bucket list” is Egypt, because I am fascinated by the country’s incredible history.
I joined Grand Circle in 2010, and I am thrilled to have now transitioned into the Groups Sales Department. When you call me for help with your travel plans, you’ll be talking to someone who is as passionate about world travel as you are. I was born in Brazil, but moved to the U.S. with my parents when I was two years old. I have always been fascinated by the way travel can open one’s mind, and I travel with the company as often as possible. I’ve taken over 10 trips with Grand Circle, and just moved to California at the start of 2016 to join the satellite office in Los Angeles.
I started with Grand Circle in 1994 when we were manually faxing rooming lists to our vendors! A lot has changed since then, but my love of travel has not. My first trip overseas was when my dad took me to Paris for my graduation present from high school. After that, I was hooked! I spent my junior year of college at the Université de Fribourg, Switzerland and I still consider that one of the best years of my life. Working here has given me travel opportunities I would not have had otherwise: Egypt, South America, Iceland & Australia, to name a few. I am excited to be working with this great team and working with travel planners. When I’m not doing that, I’m spending my time with my two children, friends and family, and spending as much time as I possibly can on Block Island, RI….my little slice of heaven.
I have been with Grand Circle since 2012 and joined the Groups Department in 2015, after spending two years training Traveler Support Associates in our Boston Call Center. I relocated to California a few months after coming in to the Groups Department, and have been living on the beach in Southern California since. Group travel has always played a major role in my life since childhood. Every summer, a group of close family and friends would choose on a destination and off we would go; some of my fondest memories are from those family trips. Prior to my career at Grand Circle, I traveled independently throughout most of Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, and lived in France for seven months where I had the opportunity to spend two weeks backpacking through Italy, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. I enjoy being outdoors, reading, playing tennis, and always enjoy going back to the East Coast to spend time with my family. My current goal is to visit 30 countries by my 30th birthday. Wish me luck!
My love for travel began when my grandparents took me to visit our family in the Amalfi Coast of Italy. I have been with the Grand Circle Family since 2013 and in the summer of 2015, I relocated to Tampa, Florida as the Regional Group Sales Representative. Prior to Grand Circle, I attended Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire and the University of Newcastle Australia graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on business. I have traveled to six of the seven continents with my most recent trip being Africa with OAT. I am very happy to be part of the Group Sales team and I am looking forward to all of the exciting opportunities the future holds!
I joined Grand Circle in the summer of 2015 and started in the Groups Department in March 2018. My journey here has included roles as a Sales Associate, Sales Supervisor, and Call Center Training Specialist. Since arriving, I have had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica, Ecuador & the Galápagos Islands, and South Africa, and I can’t wait to add more to my list! My biggest passions are adventure travel and food (both cooking and eating), and I will try anything once. My travel adventures include cage diving with great white sharks in South Africa, zip-lining through the jungle in Costa Rica, and skydiving in my home state of Massachusetts. When it comes to cuisine, I’ve tried everything from mopane worms to blood sausage, but my favorite food is my mother’s homemade American Chop Suey. I’m excited to be a part of the Groups Department, and I look forward to making your travel dreams become a reality!
