Pre- or post-trip extensions

5 nights Pre-trip

Extend your discoveries in another iconic Italian destination—Tuscany—with a three-night stay in the postcard-worthy village of Arezzo. Then, venture off the beaten path to the scenic Abruzzo region, where you’ll hike to a lovely lake high in the Apennine Mountains and discover a medieval village whose traditions are seemly untouched by time.  

Puglia: Vieste & Bari

5 nights Post-trip

Discover Puglia’s countryside and cityscapes on this journey to the heel of the Italian boot. From the ancient maritime traditions of Vieste, to the mysterious bronze statue that towers over Barletta, and the final resting place of a jolly old saint in Bari, local lore and ancient traditions abound in this less-visited corner of the peninsula.

Choosing this option lets you take advantage of our lower group rates and includes your accommodations, private airport transfer, and daily breakfast. On this adventure, you can choose from the following options:

  • Arrive early in Arezzo before your Tuscany pre-trip extension — Travel from $220 per room per night
  • Arrive early in Naples before your main adventure — Travel from $310 per room per night

Air preferences

Many travelers choose to upgrade their seat en route to the first destination on their adventure to arrive more rested and ready to explore—you can choose to upgrade for your roundtrip flight, or just one-way.
