Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility aids
You must be able to walk 5-8 miles unassisted in the course of each day and to participate in 6-8 hours of physical activities each day, as well as being able to stand unassisted for up to 30 minutes at a time
Our activities involve city walking tours over cobblestoned streets, coastal hikes, and a visit to an underground cave which requires walking down close to 700 steps on Day 5.
We reserve the right for Trip Experience Leaders to restrict participation, or in some circumstances send travelers home, if their limitations impact the group's experience

Climate
Portugal offers warm-to-hot summers and cold winters; snow is common in the north in the months of March and November, which you may experience during hikes
Daytime temperatures in July and August often reach above 90°F

Walk over cobbled streets, uneven ground, unpaved roads, and steep stairs
Travel via private, air-conditioned bus, canal boat, and ferry

Hotel rooms are smaller than those in the U.S. and offer basic amenities
