This is a very active itinerary, which features five hikes along the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. These hikes range from 2-6 miles in length, and from 1-2 hours in duration. We will be walking over unpaved trails, and at times will need to navigate hills, and rough, uneven terrain.
You must be able to walk 5-8 miles unassisted in the course of each day and to participate in 6-8 hours of physical activities each day, as well as being able to stand unassisted for up to 30 minutes at a time
Our small groups will walk approximately 15,000-20,000 steps per day on average throughout the trip, including our Camino hikes and city walking tours
We reserve the right for Trip Experience Leaders to restrict participation, or in some circumstances send travelers home, if their limitations impact the group's experience
You may encounter animals on this trip. We make every effort to keep these encounters safe, however animals may behave unpredictably or dangerously at times. Please use caution when interacting with animals on this trip: Keep a safe distance, stay alert, and respect the animals
