Have you ever stumbled upon an unforgettable restaurant in your travels? Ever forgotten to pack something that you realized would’ve made your trip easier? Do you know of a must-do free-time activity other travelers simply shouldn’t miss?

As experienced travelers—we need your help. We want to hear your tips and advice from your past travels. When you share your tips by 10/31/17, you’ll be entered to win up to $1500 in travel credits. Each category winner (see below) will receive $500 in travel credits. From those five winners, a Grand Prize winner will be voted for and selected by fellow travelers—and will receive an additional $1000—for a total of $1500 in travel credits.

Here’s how to win:

• We will be selecting one winner in each category: Restaurants and Food, Most Unique Memento, Most Authentic Experience, Most “Off-the-Beaten-Path” Activity, and Best Travel Tips & Tricks.
• From those five winners, fellow travelers will vote for their favorite—and that favorite will become the Grand Prize winner
• We will be selecting five winners based on the quality of the tip—so the more detailed your tip is, the better.
• Each tip submitted will be considered an entry, as long as the tip is detailed and specific.
• You can submit as many tips as you want—the more you share, the greater your chances are of winning.

What makes a strong tip?

• Be as descriptive and specific as possible. For example, include the name of a place or activity, supply addresses and directions to a location, and explain the impact on your overall travel experience.
• Let us know what trip you were on, what city or country you were in, and even what time of year you traveled—if relevant.
• If you’re suggesting souvenirs, or specific items people should (or shouldn’t) travel with, let us know if you have a preferred brand, or where it can be purchased. Please include prices in U.S. dollars when possible.
