Our Activity Level rating system ranks adventures on a scale of 1 to 5 to help you determine if a trip is right for you. See the descriptions below for more information about the physical requirements associated with each rating.
Activity Level 1:
Easy
Travelers should be able to climb 25 stairs consecutively, plus walk at least 1-2 miles over some uneven surfaces without difficulty. Walks typically last at least 1-2 hours at a time. Altitude can range from zero to 5,000 feet.
Activity Level 2:
Moderately Easy
Travelers should be able to climb 40 stairs consecutively, plus walk at least 2-3 miles over some uneven surfaces without difficulty. Walks typically last for at least 2-3 hours at a time. Altitude can range from zero to 5,000 feet.
Activity Level 3:
Moderate
Travelers should be able to climb 60 stairs consecutively, plus walk at least 3 miles over some steep slopes and loose or uneven surfaces without difficulty. Walks typically last for 3 or more hours at a time. Altitude can range from 5,000 to 7,000 feet.

Moderately Strenuous
Travelers should be able to climb 80 stairs consecutively, plus walk at least 4 miles over some steep slopes and loose or uneven surfaces without difficulty. Walks typically last for 4 or more hours at a time. Altitude can range from 7,000 to 9,000 feet.

Settle into a seat on the Sky Deck to read or catch up with your fellow travelers as you cruise. Grab your camera to snap photos of the passing coastline and ports of call as they come in to view. Or relax in the whirlpool after a day of exploration.
Cabins on the Sun Deck are 234 square feet, including a private balcony. Other amenities include two closets, flat-screen TV, desk/vanity with a mirror, and a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
Cabins on the Main Deck and Veranda Deck are 161 square feet and feature a large picture window. Other amenities include one closet, flat-screen TV, desk/vanity with a mirror, and a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
The Clio features two open-seating dining rooms: one on the Veranda Deck, where breakfasts and lunches are served, and this dining room on the Marina Deck, where you’ll enjoy most dinners, including the Captain’s Welcome and Farewell Dinners. Both dining rooms are large enough to accommodate all travelers at once, and meals can be tailored to your specific dietary preferences. The dress code is casual, and all meals are served by our friendly, English speaking crew members—leading to a relaxed and convivial experience at every seating.
Debrief after a day of exploring in the Discovery Lounge, located on the Main Deck. With enough seating to accommodate all travelers, you’ll gather here for nightly Port Talks about your next destination, as well as onboard entertainment on select evenings. At the adjoining bar, enjoy complimentary house beer and wine, plus assorted soft drinks, whenever you like. A self-service coffeemaker is also available, offering black coffee, cappuccinos, and other specialty beverages.
The Clio is equipped with six electronic bicycles (e-bikes) and two manual bicycles, which you can use for independent exploration. Bicycles can be obtained through the front desk, and your Trip Experience Leader would be happy to recommend popular routes and places of interest.
The Clio features five passenger decks with a variety of public spaces, including outdoor seating areas, a bar & lounge, and two dining rooms. Cabins are located on three of the levels. While all 45 cabins feature outside views (either a balcony or picture window), each of the eight available categories offers its own advantages.
Take in coastal views from your seat on the Sky Deck, complete with classic wooden chairs in an open-seating arrangement for admiring the vast ocean and surrounding seaside towns. Feel the sea breeze as you relax with your fellow travelers, a book or a drink in hand, or take a dip in the whirlpool. Please note: Sky Deck is only accessible by stairs.
Experience the excitement of ocean cruising from your private balcony. The Sky Deck is located one level above your cabin, so you can easily make your way topside for panoramic views, and the Veranda restaurant is one level below. Elevator service is available between all passenger decks.

Located on the central-most passenger deck with the Verdana restaurant, the Veranda Deck features cabins with large picture windows through which to view the sparkling seas. If you would prefer a single room, a private cabin is available on this deck at no additional cost. Elevator service is available between all passenger decks.

On the Main Deck, you’re in close proximity to the Discovery Bar & Lounge, as well as the Library, Reception Desk, and gangway. The Marina Deck houses one of two restaurants on the Clio, where you’ll enjoy most dinners. (Breakfast and lunches are served in the restaurant on the Veranda Deck, two levels up.) The Marina Deck is located just one level down from the Main Deck, so you can easily make your way there from the bar & lounge to enjoy regional specialties in the dining room.
