M/V Hondius
Venture to the realm of polar bears aboard the brand-new, 150-passenger M/V Hondius. With a reinforced ice-breaking hull and stabilizers to reduce roll, this privately chartered expedition ship is ideally suited to carry you comfortably through icy Arctic waters. The ship holds six groups of 20-25 travelers (average of 22), attended to by 70 friendly crew members. A twelve-member Expedition Team is also present during your voyage to provide insights into Arctic history, ecology, and research, and to accompany you on Zodiac landings. And because the ship is eco-friendly—designed with biodegradable paint, LED lighting, and low fuel consumption—you can feel confident knowing that the environmental impact of your adventure will be limited.

For views of your icy surroundings, head to the bar & lounge on Deck 5. Witness towering glaciers and an array of wildlife, and participate in informative discussions in the panoramic Observation Room. Elevator service is available between all passenger decks.
You'll find all Category D cabins on Deck 4, as well as the ship's restaurant. Savor internationally-themed and American-style dishes during all meals onboard. Complimentary house beer, wine, and soft drinks are always available throughout the day. Elevator service is available between all passenger decks.
