We have breakfast, and your driver-guide gives you a safari briefing. We then head to our rustic camp, where we will spend the next two days. We arrive shortly after noon, traveling in 4x4 vehicles designed for comfort and maximum visibility.

After a lunch, we set out on a late-afternoon game-viewing drive and walking safari with a Maasai guide before returning to camp for dinner.

This morning, as dawn breaks over the east African plains, we are up and out for an early morning game-viewing drive. Elephants are easily spotted, while harder-to-find lions and cheetah slip quietly through the tall grasses of the savanna. In addition, we usually discover a wealth of birdlife.

We return to camp for breakfast and then set out for a visit to the nearby Maasai village. The Maasai are best known for the elaborate and beautiful beadwork that adorns their bodies. They are a proud people, once much-feared as warriors, who now tend cattle, often moving large herds across the African plains. We visit their village.

This afternoon, you may choose between a game-viewing drive or walking safari with our Maasai friends as guides. Dinner is at your camp tonight.
