Submit your travel photos & videos

Don’t you love capturing photos and videos while traveling abroad, and then coming home to share those memories with others? When you upload your photos, slideshows, and videos below, you’ll have the chance to be featured on our website. If your travel footage is selected, you’ll not only be sharing your travel experiences but also helping fellow travelers learn about what to expect on our trips from a real, unedited perspective.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The steps are very easy to submit a photo. We provide many options to do this, including the ability to directly upload an image from your computer, Smart Phone or iPhone, iPad, or other tablet. We have also provided the option to choose an image from Instagram or Facebook.

    Once you have logged in and clicked on the “Upload Photo” button on the Traveler Moments page, there are a few simple steps to follow:

    1. First, choose which trip is featured in the photo you are submitting.
    2. You’ll be redirected to the trip page—Click the “Upload Your Photos” button
    3. Choose the photos you’d like to upload, and click the "Next" button. You may submit three photos at a time.
    4. Next, enter your full name and email.
    5. Then provide a comment about the moment(s). Tell us which trip and city is featured, and what the photo means to you.
    6. Click submit.
  • Unfortunately, due to the volume of images that we collect from fellow travelers, we are unable to contact each person when their images have been added to the website. Please check back frequently to see new images. Typically, photos will appear on the Traveler Moments section within an hour.
  • There is a delay from the time you submit your photos to the time it actually appears on the website. Typically, it will take about an hour, and could take up to 72 hours. The images you submit will appear on both the Traveler Moments page, as well as the trip-specific page that is associated with the images you captured. Please check back often for new content.
  • Images may be removed if they are deemed offensive to individuals. Images may also be removed if they are found to be copyrighted material.
  • In order to provide the best experience to our travelers, we ask that you log into My Account, which allows us to access your past travel history. We use your travel history to review the photos and videos you are submitting, and then associate them to the correct trip featured. This ensures that we are showing the correct information about each trip when other travelers are viewing your photos or videos.

  • To upload a travel video, you must be logged into your My Account. Your video must also be of an adventure that you have taken with O.A.T. Once you have met these requirements, you can click on the button above to submit your video.
  • Make sure your video file does not exceed 2GB and is either MP4 or .MOV file type. MKV files are not compatible with the uploader. Videos shot in high definition should not negatively impact your uploading experience.
  • Please email [email protected] if you experience other issues uploading videos. If you can, try to include any information that could help us troubleshoot your issue: error messages or even screenshots go a long way. Someone will respond to your email within 48 hours.
  • You can submit photos from past trips that you have taken with Grand Circle Travel, Grand Circle Cruise Line, or Overseas Adventure Travel. We are looking for the moments that really spoke to you—the moment that highlights why you leave home and travel far to expand your worldwide horizons. Images of people, places, wildlife, and landmarks are welcome. Future travelers want to see your experience on our trip through another traveler’s eyes.
  • Take a look at the Creative Tips section on the Traveler Moments page to find some helpful tips and tricks our photo team uses while they are abroad.
  • Your comments, suggestions and information are important to us. With respect to any content you submit or make available to Grand Circle or on the Site, including but not limited to your biography, comments, reviews, endorsements, testimonials, pictures, videos and other content, you grant, and warrant that you have the right to grant, to Grand Circle a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, non-exclusive license to use, copy, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works, commercialize and sublicense such content, in whole or in part, in any media, now or hereafter known or developed for all purposes, without any additional consideration due to you. We do not prescreen content posted by users and cannot guarantee the Site will be free from content that is inaccurate, deceptive, offensive, defamatory, unlawful or otherwise objectionable. You acknowledge that we are acting only as a passive channel for such distribution. We have no liability relating to any user content or activities of users on the Site. Even in the event we choose to monitor any user content, we assume no responsibility for, or any obligation to monitor or remove such user content.
  • Images and videos you submit may be used across our websites to share the travel experiences you have encountered. We may also be interested in using your images and videos on Facebook, in our emails, and even in our print catalogs. Keep an eye out to see if yours or your friend’s photos are used.

  • There is a size restriction on how large your photos and videos can be. For photos, the size should be no larger than 5 MB. For videos, the size should be no larger than 100 MB.
  • To share your photo or video from the website, click on the image. It will open a new window. In the bottom right-hand corner of that window, you will see a Facebook icon and an email icon. Click on one of these icons to begin the sharing process.
  • Please email [email protected] if you have issues uploading photos. Someone will respond to your email within 48 hours.
  • Please email [email protected] and request the video be removed. For photos, please contact [email protected]. In your email request, please tell us your first and last name, your customer number, and the trip the image was associated with.
  • You do not need permission to show fellow travelers in the images you have taken. If we receive a request or complaint about an image, we will notify you.
