Lisbon from Above

Posted on 8/15/2017 12:00:00 AM in What We're Watching

A note from independent filmmaker David Conover on why he chose this film:

Nestled along the Iberian Peninsula on the Tagus River, Lisbon is Portugal’s capital city. One of the oldest cities in the world—Lisbon significantly predates other Western cities like Paris, Rome, and London—the city remains a cosmopolitan and economic European hub. In this short film, we fly over Lisbon and see all of its grandeur from above. We see the yellow hues of Commerce Square, the weathered orange roof tiles of homes, and the lapping blue Atlantic waters in the harbor. Clearly, Lisbon’s beauty is timeless.

Produced by Pedro Cordeiro
