Hot Air Balloons of Cappadocia, Turkey

Posted on 6/13/2017 2:27:00 PM in What We're Watching

A note from independent filmmaker David Conover on why he chose this film:

Viewing landscapes from above is an eye-opening—and almost subversive—experience. The overhead view evokes a scale and an immensity that cannot be accessed from the ground. In this short film made by Kay Burn Lim, we experience Cappadocia, Turkey from the cradled basket of a hot air balloon. We soar towards the setting sun, high over the jagged rock formations of Monks Valley. What views!

Produced by Kay Burn Lim
