Grannies on Safari: Buenos Aires

Posted on 4/3/2018 12:00:00 AM in What We're Watching

A note from our curator, independent filmmaker David Conover on why he chose this film:

In this episode of Grannies on Safari, hosts Regina and Pat visit Argentina’s cosmopolitan city, Buenos Aires. Regina and Pat are lifelong friends who decided to create a travel series based on their adventures across the globe. Here, they visit the city’s popular destinations—Teatro Colón, Casa Rosada (home of the balcony where Eva Peron often addressed her supporters), and the famous Santiago Calatrava bridge, Puente de la Mujer. What I really enjoy, though, are discoveries they make outside of the major landmarks. A silversmith. The arts barrio, La Boca. A textile gallery. Go, Regina and Pat!

Buenos Aires – European Charm with a Latin Beat—produced by Regina Fraser, Pat Johnson and Kathy Monk
