Experience the highlights of Australia & New Zealand: An Adventure Down Under in this film, featuring video shot by traveler Robert S. and still photos from his wife, Diana. Before joining their fellow O.A.T. travelers, they explored Tasmania on their own, visiting Port Arthur, Wineglass Bay, and Freycinet National Park.
In Australia, Robert’s footage highlights the magnificent scope of Uluru (Ayers Rock), rising from the scrub of the Outback—both up close, and from a distance. Go scuba diving along the Great Barrier Reef, where Robert and Diana were followed by a “friendly grouper.” And take a breathtakingly terrifying skywalk over Sydney’s Harbour Bridge.
Onward to New Zealand to explore geothermal wonders in Rotorua’s Waimangu Valley, dramatic fjords in Milford Sound, and fascinating Maori heritage in Wellington. But the grand finale of this video—and a highlight of Robert and Diana’s whole trip—is a spectacular helicopter flight from Queenstown over the Mount Cook region. It must be seen to be believed!
