By Anica N., 14-time traveler and 30-time Vacation Ambassador from Richboro, PA What was your favorite trip and why? It's hard to say. The river cruises have been highlights, especially the holiday ones. The Christmas markets are great, and it's the best time to see all the cities and towns because they're all decorated for the holidays. Holland & Belgium in Springtime was fun as well. I love flowers, nature, and culture, and it had all three. What’s your favorite/most successful way to refer a friend? I always have referral cards in my wallet and I talk about my favorite trips with Grand Circle even when we are traveling with other companies. What's your best memory from a trip? We became friends with one other couple on Real Affordable Peru, and we stayed in touch by emailing back and forth. Later, in Guatemala, we found out that the other couple was also there on the departure right before ours. Our Trip Leaders arranged for us to meet up for dinner on their last night and one of our first nights. Also, when we were in Chile and Argentina, we met a woman who brought her grandson with her. She said that she tells each grandchild when they are small that she will give them the trip of the lifetime if they do well in school. Instead of giving them money when she dies, she is giving them memories now. We will have three grandchildren after our next one is born, and we want to do that for all of them—we want to teach them to love to travel and see the world. Perhaps Holland & Belgium in Springtime will make a lasting impression on you as well. Preview the experiences that await you in this video.
