And we'll celebrate Ecuador's human achievements as well in the colonial streets of Quito. In the Galápagos, step ashore to discover an island menagerie isolated from the world by 600 miles of ocean. Then marvel at the gracefulness of a sea lion darting through azure waters. The Amazon beckons as we glide by canoe along white-water tributaries on our way to explore the habitats of local wildlife and nearby communities. The strains of Spanish guitars and Andean flutes float by as we walk the stone streets of a mountain city. From pristine shores and exotic jungles to colonial cities with modern sentiments, Ecuador is an astonishingly diverse and rich tapestry that awaits our discovery.
