  • Make your own international flight arrangements directly with the airline, applying frequent flyer miles if available
  • Stay overnight in a connecting city before or after your trip
  • Request to arrive a few days early to get a fresh start on your adventure
  • Choose to “break away” before or after your trip, spending additional days or weeks on your own
  • Extend your adventure with our optional pre- and post-trip extensions
  • Combine your choice of OAT adventures to maximize your value
  • Upgrade to business or premium economy class

The air options listed above will involve an additional fee of $100 per person for confirmed requests (as well as incremental airfare costs based on your specific choice). This service fee will be waived for Inner Circle/Sir Edmund Hillary Club members.

Rise early to enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Jaipur and surroundings. Float high above the Jai Mahal Lake and countryside, going where the wind takes you. Don’t be surprised if you attract attention along the way! The cost of this optional tour includes transfers to/from the hotel, a pre-flight briefing, and flight of approximately one hour. If you do chose to take this excursion, plan on waking before dawn for an early-morning pick up at your hotel. You’ll return to your hotel in time for breakfast.

Take a trip to the Ranthambore Fort, a spectacular fortress built more than 1,000 years ago on a rocky outcrop with stunning views. Today it sits in the middle of the Ranthambore sanctuary. You’ll ride in an open four-wheel drive vehicle (known locally as a canter), and then hike to the fort, a huge structure with a fascinating history and fine craftsmanship in its interiors.

 The Taj from the Moonlight Garden Price: $30 per person

Join this optional tour to take in the view of the Taj from the Mehtab Bagh (“Moonlight Garden”) across the Yamuna River—a perspective believed to have been cherished by the Taj’s builder, Shah Jahan, himself. This large garden was designed in a traditional Persian four-part pattern and has been undergoing restoration since the 1990s. From the garden we’ll proceed to a local restaurant to savor a South Indian dinner.
