We all travel in different ways: Some of us bring along our spouses, while others enjoy traveling on their own. Some journey with their families, and some take on the world with their girlfriends. No matter who we explore the world with, we all encounter unique experiences wherever we go. So as we celebrate the holiday season—and prepare for the start of a New Year—I thought it would be a perfect time to look back on some of my favorite stories submitted by our travelers.
For Lynne and Dave Ells, one simple photograph during an adventure to China began a wonderful and unexpected cross-cultural friendship.
Journey with Sharon Lettvin Neville—a 9-time traveler from Nipomo, California—as she reunites with her extended family in Israel.
Mother and daughter Norma Moskey and Susan Giaccotto hold a special place in their hearts for the people and places of Africa—where they’ve traveled again and again.
Explore the land “Down Under” with sisters Susan and Chris, who share laughter—and sisterhood—everywhere they go.
Journey with Barbara Garrett—a 4-time traveler from San Clemente, California—as she celebrates the memory of her husband and encounters the gentle spirit of the Vietnamese people.
Discover how Barbara Morris—a 17-time traveler from Falls Church, Virginia—dances to the beat of her own drum in the Greek Isles.
