One of the things I like most about OAT’s annual BusinessWorks event is having the opportunity to meet some of our high-performing associates from around the world.
This year, I had the pleasure of speaking with Alex Maureira, a Trip Leader on our Chile & Argentina: The Andes to Patagonia adventure—and one of the most recent recipients of our Sumner-Thoren Award, which recognizes outstanding Trip Leaders for their commitment to delivering unique, life-changing experiences to OAT travelers.
After introducing myself to Alex, I asked him, “Why should I visit Patagonia?” His answer? Instead of telling me why I should visit South America, he showed me—sharing a brief video he’d made with the help of some of his travelers. Watching it, I not only enjoyed a glimpse of Patagonia’s natural wonders, including Torres del Paine National Park and Perito Moreno glacier, I heard travelers describe—in their own words—what made their experience with Alex so magical.
I was so impressed by Alex’s creativity, I asked if I could share his video with other travelers. He happily obliged—so today I’m pleased to be passing it along to you. I hope you enjoy your virtual tour of Patagonia as much as I did!
