OAT’s Vietnam team makes a huge difference for one village and school
The anthropologist Margaret Mead once said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Time and again, OAT associates have proven this to be true as they volunteer their time and energy to help others in the countries they call home.
Recently, OAT’s office in Vietnam—led by Regional General Manager Johnny Cuong and including associates Nhu Quoc Khanh, Nguyen Thanh Tung, and nearly 30 Trip Leaders—gathered for a community service event at the Banana Village in Dalat. The group cleaned up the village and also supported the Dien Phu School, a Grand Circle Foundation site, by replacing the roof and electrical system and repainting two classrooms. The team also donated three computers for the school's computer lab.
The results of their hard work were truly outstanding, as you’ll see in the photos below.
