Announcing OAT’s Associate Photo Contest winners
Photographer Ansel Adams once said, “A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words.” And after seeing some of the amazing images OAT associates submitted for our first-ever OAT Associate Photo Contest, I couldn’t agree more.
These photos express the true beauty and diversity of the world we live in: The smiling face of a local in Vietnam … lions resting in Tanzania … awe-inspiring Machu Picchu and other Inca ruins in Peru … and travelers learning a traditional tribal dance at a Maasai village in Africa.
For this contest, we created five distinct categories—People, Nature & Wildlife, Landmarks, Artistic, and Company Culture—and asked OAT associates to submit photos taken during their travels. The response was overwhelming: We received more than 130 fabulous photos—which we displayed in Harriet’s Corner.
We then asked associates in our Boston headquarters to vote for their favorites in each category—and in our News & Views section, you can enjoy a closer look at the winners.
If these images have inspired you to share your own photos, enter our Traveler Photo Contest. You can send your entries to photocontest@oattravel.com. I hope you’ll continue to share photos from your OAT travels with me, too, by sending them to
